Kings' Harrison Barnes tests positive for coronavirus

Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes confirmed he tested positive for the coronavirus before the team's flight to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida to complete the 2019-20 NBA season.

Barnes tweeted he is "primarily asymptomatic" and quarantining as he waits to be cleared to join teammates in Florida.

Barnes started 64 regular-season games and averaged 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game before the NBA halted play on March 11 due to the uncontrolled virus outbreak. Sacramento entered the bubble site 3.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the final Western Conference playoff spot.

Houston Rockets stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook are among recognizable names who didn't immediately travel with clubs to Florida. Westbrook tested positive for the coronavirus, while Harden is "feeling fine" and preparing to return to action.
