Lakers vs. Raptors: The Los Angeles Lakers dropped to the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference after a recent double-digit loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The defeat placed JJ Redick’s squad under scrutiny, but the team responded strongly on Sunday with a 119-93 victory against the Toronto Raptors. The Lakers saw strong performances from Luka Doncic, LeBron James, and Deandre Ayton, who combined for 74 points.

This win marked the Lakers’ first win over an opponent above .500 since December 14. While it did little to improve their standing in the West, it lifted their overall season record to 25-16. The loss dropped the Raptors to 25-19.
