The Sacramento Kings have been rumored to be 'aggressively' looking to trade up in the NBA draft, as they don't have a first-round draft pick, and a popular team they've been connected to is the Miami Heat.
Miami owns the 20th pick in the upcoming draft, and seem like a great trade partner for the Kings, as they have multiple players that they can move, from Andrew Wiggins, to Terry Rozier, or Duncan Robinson.
The most talked-about piece that would go back to the Heat has been six-time All-Star DeMar DeRozan. But Sactown Sports 1140's Allen Stiles reported that while the Kings and Heat have had discussions, they haven't involved DeRozan.
"No DeMar DeRozan convo has happened with the Miami Heat," Stiles stated. He went on to clarify that while no DeRozan conversations have taken place, the two teams have been talking. "No DeMar DeRozan conversation has happened with the Heat... yet. But convos have happened with the Heat."

That leaves the door open for the teams to add DeRozan to the table in future conversations, but also insinuates that the Heat are asking about different players on the Kings roster.
Sacramento doesn't lack talent on its roster. Between Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, Malik Monk, and Keegan Murray, there are multiple players who make sense in a trade to Miami. The problem for the Kings last season was that the players they assembled, especially after the De'Aaron Fox trade, didn't fit together.
Miami is heavily involved in the Kevin Durant trade rumors and is likely focusing on bringing in the 15-time All-Star. But it was also recently reported that DeRozan could be a 'Plan B' if Miami is unable to trade for Durant.
We're entering the point of the offseason where rumors run wild before the fireworks go off. While the Kings and Heat may not have discussed DeRozan quite yet, it's likely that talks will continue to pick up as the offseason officially kicks off following game seven of the NBA Finals.
