Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been engaged in off-season activities for over six weeks now following his team's first-round playoff exit to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
One of his focuses has been co-hosting the "Mind the Game " podcast alongside NBA legend Steve Nash. The podcast exposes viewers to some of the all-time greats' perspectives on specific players, teams and playoff trends, along with other basketball topics.
With 22 years of experience on his resume, fans around the league speculate that James could contribute to some teams' coaching staff once his era on the court comes to a close.
Some episodes feature James and Nash discussing listener questions or comments. On Monday, "Mind the Game" posted a clip of the two responding to a listener's question directed to LeBron regarding a potential future in coaching.
Specifically, the fan asked which team James would coach if he made the transition, to which he replied, "There's no way. There's no way, guys."
"Alfonso Taylor, appreciate you for the kind question, but it ain't happening. No team. Zero chance. Zero chance," James added.
Sorry y'all, LeBron's never coaching.

Throughout James' response, Nash repeatedly urged the Lakers star not to pursue a coaching career.
"Let me just stop that one right now and say, please, please don't coach," said Nash.
Nash was the coach of the Brooklyn Nets from 2020-22, coaching two full seasons and being fired seven games into his third after a disappointing 2-5 start. He has since stated he does not plan to return to coaching, turning his attention to family and other opportunities.
