LeBron James didn’t reveal any concrete plans on Monday, but one cryptic social media post was enough to send ticket prices through the roof.

Shortly after James tweeted that “The Second Decision” is coming Tuesday, the cheapest ticket for the Lakers’ final home game of the regular season against the Jazz on April 12, 2026, jumped from $82 to $580, per ESPN’s Kalan Hooks. Two seats now start at $760, according to Vivid Seats.

The surge comes as fans speculate this could be James’ final season. While James has downplayed retirement talk, he’s also admitted the end is closer than ever.

“I don’t know when the end is,” he said last week. “I know it’s a lot sooner than later.”

James, 40, is entering his NBA-record 23rd season and eighth with the Lakers. Los Angeles opens the season Oct. 21 against the Warriors.
