It has been an eventful week for the James family.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James turned 40 on Monday, and became the first player in NBA history to play in the league as a teen and 40-year-old. His oldest son, Bronny James, put up a team-high 23 points in the South Bay Lakers' Saturday loss, and his younger son, Bryce James, made a decision about his future.

The three-star shooting guard in the class of 2025 out of California powerhouse Sierra Canyon took to social media to announce his commitment to play for Tommy Llyod and Arizona. An announcement that his father posted to his Instagram as well, with a message to his youngest son.

" DOWN⬇️!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! #JamesGang," wrote LeBron James.

According to ESPN, Bryce James averaged 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds, shooting 39% from the field and 36.8% from deep in 22.0 minutes per game on the Nike EYBL circuit this past spring while playing for Strive For Greatness. He also put up modest numbers at the Nike Peach Jam, scoring just 5.6 points per game across five contests.

According to MaxPreps' National Basketball editor, Jordan Divens, Bryce James missed the first nine games of his senior season due to "undisclosed injury." Divens also revealed that James comes off the bench for the Sierra Canyon.

The younger James marks the second commitment in Arizona's 2025 class, which 247Sports ranks as the No. 50 recruiting class in the country. His offer list, according to 247Sports, consisted of Arizona, Ohio State and Duquesne, with interest from USC.

It's unclear if he will be one-and-done like his older brother was at USC this past year, or if he will stay in college to develop. Regardless, yet another massive moment for the James clan.
