Luka Doncic Makes Feelings Clear About Major Lakers News

Luka Doncic is coming off his first season playing for the Los Angeles Lakers after a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks.

On Wednesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reported the news that the Lakers are being sold by the Buss family.

Via Charania: "The late Jerry Buss purchased the Los Angeles Lakers for $67.5 million in 1979.

Forty-six years later, the Buss family is entering agreement to sell the franchise for a historic valuation of approximately $10 billion, sources told ESPN."

His post had over 49,000 likes 1.9 million impressions in three hours.

Doncic wrote: "The Lakers are an amazing organization. I’m looking forward to meeting Mark and excited about the future. I am also grateful to Jeanie and the Buss family for welcoming me to LA, and I’m happy that Jeanie will continue to be involved. I look forward to working with both of them to win championships!"

Doncic finished his 28 regular season games with the Lakers averaging 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 43.8% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range.

After ending the season as the third seed in the Western Conference, they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).
