Luka Doncic Reveals His Hidden Talent

Because professional athletes have to put so much time and work into getting to the level they are at in their field, it is often difficult to imagine them doing anything else. But sometimes athletes have a talent that most have no idea about and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic apparently has one as well.

In a recent one-word interview, Doncic was asked what is his hidden talent and his answer was likely one that hardly anybody would have guessed in signing, via the Lakers on X:

What’s your hidden talent?

“Singing.”

This might be one of those times where Doncic will eventually have to come out and prove that this is really a talent of his. Many people around the world believe they can sing as good as some of the all-time greats and feel they sound amazing in the shower or while out doing karaoke. Whether Doncic falls in that category or if he legit has some singing chops is unclear.

Some of his Lakers teammates would likely have the answer to this and it feels like only a matter of time before Austin Reaves has a comment on this subject. If anyone would come out with the honest answer to whether Doncic can sing, Reaves would be the guy and if Doncic can’t, Reaves would undoubtedly be the person making sure the whole world knows it.

While that may be his hidden talent, Doncic’s best talent remains on the basketball court as he is looking to follow up his All-NBA year last season, with another strong performance to lead the Lakers this year. With a new roster surrounding him, Doncic plans to lead the Lakers back into championship contention and have a long playoff run after missing last year’s postseason due to that left hamstring strain.

And maybe if Doncic is able to lead the Lakers to a deep postseason run or even an NBA Finals appearance, he can bust out his singing talent in celebration.

Trevor Ariza discusses what Luka Doncic-led Lakers must do to win championship

Someone who knows something about winning a championship in purple and gold is Trevor Ariza, who was an invaluable piece of the Lakers’ 2009 championship squad. And when looking at this year’s Lakers team, Ariza feels that any squad with Doncic on it is going to be great offensively, but pointed out that history shows a team needs to be great defensively as well to win a ring and isn’t sure if this Lakers team can do that.
