Man who claims he delivered pizza to Michael Jordan is '100% certain' it wasn't poisoned

Michael Jordan's flu game is legendary but according to "The Last Dance," it may not have been the flu that debilitated him, as Jordan claims that he received pizza the night before that he believes was poisoned. However, a man who claims he made and delivered the pizza to Jordan disputes that claim, saying he delivered a poison-free pizza that night.

Craig Fite posted on Facebook saying that he was the one who delivered the pizza and then appeared on The Big Show with Jake Scott and Gordon Monson to fully tell his side of the story.

Fite pretty much disputes Jordan's story every step of the way, saying that nearly every claim made by the Bulls legend and Tim Grover, Jordan's trainer, was not consistent with reality. Grover claimed that there were five people at the door when the pizza came to Jordan's room but Fite says that wasn't possible.

"There were two of us," Fite explained. "I didn't even have that many people working at the store at that time."

According to Fite, he brought the pizza to the hotel with another player without knowing who exactly it was for. One of the other players spotted him as he was delivering the pizza and asked who it was for. He told the player the room number and the player revealed that it was for Jordan.

Fite brought the pizza to Jordan's room, where someone else (likely Grover) answered and grabbed the pizza. Fite then asked if he could say hello to Jordan, who gave him a quick greeting and thanked him for the pizza.

Along with recounting his story, he revealed that it was not a local pizza place he was working for. It was a Pizza Hut and Fite said with confidence there was nothing wrong with what he brought to Jordan.

That pizza was made well," Fite explained. "I followed all the rules... I'm 100% certain it wasn't food poisoning."
