Marcus Morris Gives Stunning Nikola Jokic Opinion

Nikola Jokic had yet another historic night on Tuesday as he posted a 60-point triple double against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Denver Nuggets lost the game, but it was another feather in Jokic's cap as he aims to win his fourth MVP award.

Over the last five seasons, Jokic has been the most dominant force in the NBA. He has won three MVPs, become an NBA champion, and added a Finals MVP to his resume.

The Serbian has joined the ranks of legendary big men, even revolutionizing the position with his elite playmaking. But Marcus Morris thinks he still hasn't achieved Top 20 status.

"I'm still not gonna say he's Top 20 all-time right now," Morris said on ESPN. "His body of work is definitely impressive. The game has changed completely since Joker's been in the game. I don't see Top 20.

"And that's not no knock to him because what he's doing, especially, he's transcended the game. If he stopped playing today, would we say Joker was a Top 20 player in the NBA? I don't agree."

When listing the greatest players ever, it's tough to be objective as different NBA superstars have dominated in different ways. Nikola Jokic's case is helped by the fact that only five players in history have won more MVPs than him. If he wins this season, that number gets cut to three.

To add to that, the Joker's playmaking as a center is unprecedented, and he is on pace to average a triple double this season despite being a big man. That type of dominance is almost hard to comprehend.

However, Jokic has also only won one championship and Finals MVP so far. If he can add another in the coming years, he is certain to become a lock for Top 20 on the all-time NBA players list.
