The Dallas Mavericks turned the NBA world upside down when they traded their franchise centerpiece, Luka Doncic, to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for veteran center Anthony Davis.
In his Mavericks debut on Feb. 8, Davis suffered a non-contact left adductor strain. He's been sidelined for each of Dallas' games since this injury.
On Thursday, the Mavericks announced a significant update on Davis' injury progress.
"The Dallas Mavericks today announced that Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis, who suffered a left adductor strain on Feb. 8 against Houston, is making good progress," Mavericks PR wrote on X.
"Davis will be re-evaluated in two weeks with further updates to follow, as necessary."
