Milwaukee Bucks Re-Sign Chris Livingston To 1-Year Deal

The Milwaukee Bucks re-signed Forward Chris Livingston to a fully guaranteed one-year $2.3 million deal on Wednesday. While he has yet to make his imprint in the NBA, he will look to reach his full potential this season. Livingston’s performance in the NBA Summer League reportedly led to his new contract. He averaged 1.4 points and 1.7 rebounds during the 2024-25 regular season. How will he play with the Milwaukee Bucks this season?

The Bucks had another early playoff exit. They have responded to that disappointing result by revamping their team this offseason. They signed Myles Turner, re-signed Ryan Rollins, and brought back Bobby Portis. They also chose to waive Point Guard Damian Lillard. That move surprised many in the league.

The most important question Milwaukee has had to contend with this offseason was whether Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to remain in Milwaukee. There was rampant speculation he would ask to be traded before the 2025-2026 season. That has cooled in recent days. It is still something to watch though.

Livingston will seek to keep developing and carve out a bigger role for himself on the Bucks. This is a low-risk move for the Milwaukee Bucks. As a player not expected to contribute substantially, any production they get from him would be a positive.
