Luka Doncic has received plaudits for his body transformation this offseason, and one anonymous NBA scout made a bold prediction for the Los Angeles Lakers star next season.

“Man, he looks incredible,” the scout told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “He’s quicker and more explosive. He’s getting by people more easily. I think he’s on a mission, man.”

“I think he’s gonna win MVP and the scoring title next season. He wants to get revenge on Dallas for basically fat-shaming him,” he added.

Doncic will represent the Slovenian national team in the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket tournament. In other Los Angeles Lakers-related news, per Marc Stein , the team recently hired Jeremy Holsopple as its new head strength and conditioning coach. Holsopple worked closely with Doncic during the latter’s first few years with the Dallas Mavericks.

Long-time Los Angeles Lakers fan reveals the ideal co-star alongside Luka Doncic

With LeBron James closer to retirement, the Los Angeles Lakers are under pressure to find a co-star alongside Luka Doncic, and the team has been linked with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic. If it were up to long-time fan and rapper Ice Cube, he would rather have the Greek Freak.

“I think I would take Giannis. I think he would have too much fun with Jokic. They seem like they would have too much fun,” Ice Cube said in an exclusive interview with the Lakers Nation Show.

“So, you gotta you got to break up some of that fun because it doesn’t always spill onto the court. It spills off the court… Now, there’s nothing that is undercover. Everything is on the camera,” he added.
