Myles Turner is making the most of his opportunity to ridicule the New York Knicks.
The Indiana Pacers big man Turner threw some shade at the Knicks over the weekend following the Pacers’ victory over the Knicks in this year’s Eastern Conference Finals. Turner posted a series of several images and videos and including a ruthless shot at the Knicks in there as well.
In slide No. 6, Turner included a famous scene from “Family Guy.” In the scene, the wealthy Carter Pewterschmidt drinks a smoothie made out of blended money and says, “In about an hour, I’m gonna p-ss away 20 grand.” Then in response, Glenn Quagmire says, “What are you gonna bet on the Knicks?”

Indeed, Knicks bettors had to be feeling the pain throughout that Eastern Conference Finals series. The Knicks lost two out of the three games that they played at home and ultimately fell in six games, despite being favored to win over the Pacers.
Interestingly enough though, Turner did not quite have the best series against the Knicks. He only averaged 13.0 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 56/32/71 shooting splits. But Turner did still have a strong impact as a shot-blocker and (even if his shot was inconsistent) a three-point threat to help Indiana advance to the NBA Finals.
You have to feel happy for Turner too as he is a homegrown Pacer who is the longest-tenured player on their roster and yet had been a mainstay in trade rumors for many years. But now Turner is a key part of the first Indiana Finals run since 2000, and he is certainly having his fun along the way.
