NBA Legend John Wall Announces Big News After Retirement Decision

John Wall recently announced his official retirement from the NBA after 11 years in the league.

During his time in the NBA, Wall played for the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers. He spent most of his time with the Wizards, playing nine seasons with the N BA team.

After announcing his departure from the NBA, Wall made a decision on his professional future. He's staying close to the league and exchanging a basketball for a microphone.

On Wednesday, Wall took to social media, sharing an announcement on his personal story. He mentioned that he has officially joined the NBA on Prime broadcasting team and will serve as an analyst, covering games across the league.

"A new chapter," Wall said.

The NBA legend reacted to the announcement attached, introducing the former Washington Wizards star to the broadcasting world.

John Wall spent his first nine season with the Washington Wizards. He then played one season with the Houston Rockets and one season with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Throughout his NBA career, Wall was named a five-time All-Star, receiving the prestigious nod during his time with the Wizards.

He last played in the NBA during the 2022-23 NBA season and is widely regarded as one of the best guards to play during the 2010s.

John Wall joins a long list of former NBA players in the broadcasting realm.

Several other players who decided to pick up sports broadcasting after retirement include: Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, Richard Jefferson, JJ Redick, Matt Barnes and more.
