Nine-time All-Star Russell Westbrook, who averaged 13.3 points , 4.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 triples per game last season with the Denver Nuggets, opted to enter free agency ahead of what will be his 18th NBA season.
The 36-year-old, however, has yet to find a new team thus far, with reports indicating that there has not been significant interest from across the league. Nevertheless, Westbrook is still working hard behind the scenes under the assumption that he will be back on the court once the 2025-26 season starts later this month.
At the same time, the former NBA MVP is also doing his thing off the court. Westbrook has multiple business ventures outside of basketball, including his luxury clothing brand, Honor the Gift. On Monday, the two-time NBA scoring champion took to social media to share an exciting update about what appears to be a new collection.

Based on the post, HTG will be dropping a new collection or at least a new product on Tuesday, which seems to be named Inner City Nights. This will likely fall under the broader Inner City umbrella, which has been an ongoing theme for the brand.
HTG launched Inner City Love in 2021, Inner City Sounds in 2024 and the Inner City Art Show this fall.
Westbrook’s post also indicates that VIPs receive early access to Inner City Nights, which means some customers may already be able to place pre-orders before Tuesday’s launch.
Westbrook founded Honor the Gift in 2016. According to the website, the brand is “rooted in creativity, in fashion, and in self-belief.” It also emphasizes the concept of “no matter where you come from you can reach wherever you want to go.”
At the moment, there is some level of uncertainty surrounding Westbrook’s future in the NBA. However, what cannot be denied is that he’s already setting himself up for success in life after retirement.
