A trade idea where the Boston Celtics send four players to the Sacramento Kings for Domantas Sabonis has been created.
Connor Thoms of Bleacher Report created the following trade idea between the Celtics and Kings:
Boston Celtics get: Domantas Sabonis
Sacramento Kings get: Anfernee Simons, Sam Hauser, Georges Niang, Neemias Queta, two first-round draft picks
Sabonis averaged 19.1 points, 13.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists for the Kings last season in 70 games. The three-time All-Star shot 59.0% from the field, 41.7% from beyond the arc and 75.4% from the free-throw line.
Sabonis will make $42.3 million next season. He signed a four-year, $186 million extension with the Kings in 2023. It was a renegotiation-and-extend deal.
The Kings missed the playoffs last season, while the Celtics lost to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in six games.
