New York Knicks Had Big Hurdle Before Game 6 Against Indiana Pacers

Unfortunately for the Knicks, the Pacers were able to dominate the second half of Game 6 en route to an easy victory as they now advance to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals while the Knicks’ offseason will being earlier than they hoped.

On Monday, ESPN’s Zach Lowe made a major announcement regarding the Knicks and an obstacle that they faced before they even stepped on the court in Indiana for Game 6 on Saturday.

According to Lowe, someone pulled the fir alarm at the Knicks’ hotel around 1:00 a.m. EST on the night before Game 6.

Of course, this has been seen in the past in the NBA and other sports as a way to throw off the opposing team, though it is not a very smart way to do so.

Despite this, it could have had an impact on the Knicks’ play, though they were able to put together a solid first half before Indiana pulled away in the second half to clinch their spot in the NBA Finals.

Now the Knicks have a crucial offseason ahead of them as they try to upgrade their lineup around their star duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns as they try to make a run at the NBA Finals next season after coming up just short this year.
