The Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder have arguably been the best second-round series of the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
On Thursday, Nikola Jokic helped guide the Nuggets to a 119-107 win over Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder, forcing a Game 7 back in Oklahoma City.
But now Denver could be moving forward without starting big man Aaron Gordon.
With just under two minutes to play in Game 6, Gordon was dribbling the ball up the court before OKC center Chet Holmgren poked it free. As Gordon was going for the loose ball, he came up a bit gimpy, holding and rubbing his left hamstring.
Gordon remained in for nearly a minute before Russell Westbrook permanently replaced him with 53 seconds left in the fourth.
After the win, Nuggets interim coach David Adelman addressed Gordon's injury, claiming concern for his starter is "so high."
"It's nice to have two days to get guys right going into a Sunday matinee," Adelman said. "Concern for Aaron is so high. He's played through a lot through this whole season. We'll see where he's at."

The Nuggets are hoping for a better outcome with Gordon than the Golden State Warriors had with Steph Curry. In Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry suffered his own hamstring injury, leaving him out for the next four contests. The Warriors lost in five games.
In Game 6 against the Thunder, Gordon finished with just five points on 2-of-7 shooting, seven rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes. Nikola Jokic added 29 points and 14 rebounds.
The Nuggets and Thunder will face off in a win-or-go-home Game 7 on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET back at Paycom Center.
