The Nuggets have signed and waived guard Dane Goodwin, according to the NBA’s transaction log. The deal was almost certainly an Exhibit 10 contract.
Goodwin, 25, went undrafted out of Notre Dame in 2023 and has been in and out of NBA camps with Sacramento and Utah.
He spent last season with the Salt Lake City Stars in the G League, averaging 11.5 points while shooting 40.4 percent from deep.
A five-year player at Notre Dame, Goodwin finished his college career with averages of 10.8 points and 4.4 rebounds on efficient shooting splits (.443/.391/.823).
By signing and waiving him, Denver sets Goodwin up to join its G League affiliate in Grand Rapids, where he already had his returning rights traded in August. If he spends at least 60 days there, he can collect a bonus worth up to $85,300.
