MINNEAPOLIS – The Orlando Magic's five-game road trip carries on Friday night, seeing them square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back. Tipoff is at 8 p.m .ET from the Target Center.
Orlando defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on the front end of the back-to-back Thursday night, getting big nights from Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner to win 113-93. The Magic are 31-36 this season.
Minnesota comes in with day's worth of rest, having defeated the Denver Nuggets by 20 points on Wednesday evening on the road.
The Timberwolves took the first meeting between these two teams this year.
Before tipoff Friday evening, here is the latest on player health, injuries and status for each team.
Anthony missed Thursday's game with the left big toe strain, which he was scratched for about an hour before tipoff of the Magic's win over the Pelicans. He missed Orlando's March 4 contest with the same injury.
"We're going to evaluate him tomorrow as we get into Minnesota," Mosley said Thursday night of Anthony. "It was a late scratch. As he was going through his shooting slot, I think he felt a little bit. So I think just making sure that we're being safe as we can continue to get down this backstretch."
The Timberwolves report no injuries to their main roster for Friday's matchup versus the Magic.
