The Indiana Pacers’ trip to the NBA Finals has gotten off to a rocky start.
That’s because the Pacers team plane was forced to circle Oklahoma City due to inclement weather conditions, according to multiple reports. Instead, the Pacers touched down in Tulsa to refuel the plane.
Per league source, confirming other reports, the Pacers plane circled OKC due to weather and has landed in Tulsa to refuel.

Game 1 is scheduled for Thursday night in OKC. Media Day for both the Pacers and Thunder will hold Finals media day on Wednesday.
Multiple flights have been diverted due to severe weather on Tuesday afternoon.
The Indiana Pacers team plane has landed in Tulsa, a team official told SI. The Pacers plane circled the OKC area before landing in Tulsa to refuel. A tornado warning is in effect in Oklahoma City.
