Paul George Makes History vs Phoenix Suns
USA TODAY Sports

The LA Clippers absolutely decimated the Phoenix Suns in a statement game on Monday night, but Paul George also made history in the process as well.

On Monday night, George entered the top 100 of the NBA's all-time scoring list after he put up 25 points against the Phoenix Suns. The spot was previously taken by Grant Hill with 17,137 points and is now taken by George with 17,151 points.

The next two spots in the 98th and 99th spots respectively belong to Chris Bosh (17,189) and Chris Webber (17,182). In all likelihood, George should move past both of them by the next two games. Before the season is done, Paul George should be able to move into the top 90s and above on the list. It's a tremendous pathway for Paul George, especially after suffering the horrifying injury he did during Team USA. Despite the setbacks, Paul George has still found his way to being both an all-time elite scorer and defender.

The biggest thing for George on Monday night was getting the bounceback win against the Phoenix Suns after losing to the Lakers on Sunday night. It was the perfect answer that the Clippers could have hoped for and really showed who they are as a team. LA is now 15-3 in their last 18 games and remains one of the best teams in basketball.
