The Portland Trail Blazers registered a 127-113 road win over the Atlanta Hawks yesterday to halt their four-game slide and keep themselves in the play-in race in the Western Conference.

Portland entered last night’s game with some of their key players out, including Anfernee Simons (forearm), Jerami Grant (knee), Deandre Ayton (calf), and Scoot Henderson (concussion).

All five of the Portland Trail Blazers’ starters recorded double-digit points. Shaedon Sharpe led all scorers with 33 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals on 11-for-25 shooting from the field in 39 minutes.

Portland Trail Blazers News: Deni Avdija achieves milestone in win vs. Atlanta Hawks

Deni Avdija notched 32 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Atlanta Hawks, making him the first player in Portland Trail Blazers history to record at least 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in a single game. Avdija is also the fourth player this season to have those numbers alongside Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, and Jimmy Butler.

“Deni stepped up in a big way,” Camara said about Avdija’s performance via Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian.

“I feel like we played together. I feel like we were patient with each other,” Avdija said. “We played hard. We made some good stops at the end, and that’s it. I’m proud of the guys. We came out on top.”
