On Wednesday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers are hosting the Brooklyn Nets in Oregon.
Starting center Deandre Ayton had missed the previous 11 games, but was cleared to make his return to action.
However, the former first-overall pick was unable to make it to the area and was stuck at home due to the roads.
Via Casey Holdahl: "Ayton tried for hours to combat the sheet of ice leading out of his neighborhood and the team sent people out to help as well, but to no avail, so he is out for tonight’s game versus Brooklyn"
