Former Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade recently gave Michael Beasley his props, as his former teammate just won the BIG3 tournament under the Miami 305 team.

Wade went as far as calling his former Miami Heat teammate the “most talented player that’s not in the NBA,” especially after Beasley was named BIG3 MVP for the second successive season last August.

“Michael Beasley and you hear a lot of guys say this, Michael Beasley is probably the most talented basketball player that’s not in the NBA,” Wade said about Beasley via WY Network.

“When you think about how talented he is, you don’t understand why he’s not in the NBA. You understand, OK, maybe he may not be a star, but you don’t understand why he’s not in the league because of the talent that young man has in his body,” he added.

Miami Heat News: Michael Beasley reveals huge Pat Riley regret

Michael Beasley started his NBA stint with the Miami Heat after the team took him with the second overall pick in 2008. During his time in South Beach, Beasley revealed that team president Pat Riley gave him one advice he felt he should’ve taken to heart.

“If I did it all over again, I would have listened to Pat Riley. Pat Riley told me to get a condo, get two bedrooms, one for my mom when she come in town,” Beasley told Michael Cooper on BIG3’s YouTube channel.

“I went the polar opposite, I got a six-bedroom house, got three dogs, had three, four of my friends staying in, and then from it, that’s where all the problems came from. I was bailing people out of jail. My uncle was fighting a RICO. My godfather got nine, 10 years… So, to me, I was really dealing with problems,” he added.
