The Toronto Raptors have officially unveiled their new City Edition jerseys.

The jerseys pay homage to Vince Carter’s iconic dunk during the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest:

“This 30th anniversary is a season to celebrate the people and moments who have made this franchise who we are,” Raptors president and vice chairman Masai Ujiri said in a news release. “Is there a better example of that feeling than the image of Vince’s unbelievable dunk? It reminds us that we can inspire. It allows us to dream of flying. It is proudly Toronto. And this uniform is unique in the league — just like the team and fans who will proudly wear it.”

The jersey features the original Raptors logo as it replicates Carter’s most famous dunk.

The jersey is part of the Raptors celebration of Carter and the team’s 30th anniversary season in the NBA. Toronto has already unveiled their new Classic Jersey, which a replica of the Raptors old purple jerseys from the early 2000’s, which the team has already worn.

The Raptors raised Carter’s No. 15 to the rafters of Scotiabank Arena during a ceremony on Nov. 2 against the Sacrament Kings. Carter was very emotional as his jersey became the first ever to be retired by the organization.

The Raptors will debut their new jerseys on Nov. 21 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
