Nance suffered the injury in Cleveland's 124-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
The 28-year-old is having a solid season for the Cavs, who are 10th in the Eastern Conference at 10-14. He's averaging 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 48.3% from the field and 38.1% from deep. Nance has also been excellent on the defensive side, ranking second in the NBA with 1.9 steals per game.
The loss of Nance is unfortunate for Cleveland's frontcourt, which is already without Kevin Love due to a leg injury.
The Cavaliers have lost their last three games and will look to get back on track against the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
