Denver Nuggets star Russell Westbrook has a long history with NBA fans. The 36-year-old veteran is the type of player who comes into every game with a lot of emotion, which is something that has gotten him into trouble with fans on multiple occasions.
Westbrook had another fan run-in on Sunday, but it was far from another controversial moment with a heckler or anything of that nature.
The former NBA MVP ended up crashing into a young Nuggets fan sitting courtside during their home game against the Indiana Pacers. It was a scary moment that could have ended badly for both Westbrook and the fan, which is why it's a good thing that it did not.

In true Russell Westbrook fashion, the nine-time All-Star dived into the crowd as he attempted to save the ball from going out of bounds. He collided with a young fan as he crashed into the front row.
Thankfully, everyone came out of the incident unscathed as both Westbrook and the boy had big smiles on their faces after the dangerous-looking play.
Sunday's showdown against the Pacers is an important game for the Nuggets, who are coming off three straight losses. They entered the matchup with a 47-31 record and the No. 4 seed in the West.
The Los Angeles Lakers won on Sunday as well, and they improved to 48-30 to go one full game ahead of the Nuggets.
Denver has three more games remaining in the regular season after Sunday's contest, starting with a clash against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
