The Oklahoma City Thunder took Game 2 of the NBA Finals, 123-107 , thanks to 34 points by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. In the process, the MVP, SGA, scored the most points by a player in their first two Finals games.

The record was 71 points held by Allen Iverson in the 2001 NBA Finals. SGA scored 72 points, giving him the record.

As the series shifts to Indiana, look for Gilgeous-Alexander to continue his scoring tear. Game 3 is Wednesday June 11, at 8:30 PM EST.
