Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors escaped Brooklyn with a 121-119 victory over the Nets, winning their third straight game.

In the matchup against the Nets, Curry had a monster 40-point performance to go along with four rebounds and four assists.

After the game, StatMamba revealed Curry now sits at No. 10 on the NBA's list of 40-point games. He's also posted the second-most 40-point games of any point guard in NBA history (70) behind Oscar Robertson (77).

Since the All-Star break in February, Curry has been on a tear, averaging 29.9 points and 7.3 assists per game.

After the win over the Nets, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke with the media, sharing high praise for Curry.

"Stephen just had an incredible trip," Kerr said. "Put on a show in every city."

The Warriors also announced after the game that Curry had been named Golden State's "Player of the Game" for his performance against Brooklyn.

Curry and the Warriors will now prepare for a matchup against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday before traveling back home to face the Portland Trail Blazers on March 11.

Golden State continues to climb up the rankings, currently sitting at No. 6 in the Western Conference standings.
