Stephen A. Smith Fires Big Accusations Against LeBron, 'I Don't Like (Him)'

Stephen A. Smith kept his feud with LeBron James going this week by going on a heated rant about the King on Carmelo Anthony's "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast.

Sitting down with James' '03 draft classmate and his co-hosts, Smith opened up about last year's run-in with the Lakers superstar and made some harsh claims about how he handles things in public vs. behind closed doors.

This comes on the heels of Stephen A. going on "The Pivot" and claiming that James only confronts Black figures in the media and not his White ESPN counterparts, before citing James' public back-and-forth with NBA insider (and 47-year-old White man) Brian Windhorst.

Stephen A. on LeBron: 'I don't like his [expletive]'

Speaking on the situation with Carmelo, Stephen A. admitted upfront that he doesn't like LeBron and that he's felt this way about the league's all-time leading scorer for a long time.

“I don’t like his (expletive)—not even a little bit," Smith began. "You do not understand the lengths this man would go to. This dates back more than a decade. I believe he’s one way publicly and another way privately. The things he says and the things he has said to people has gotten back to me. The things that he's tried to do— if it were up to him I wouldn't be where I am today. It's some low, low [expletive]."

Smith even went as far as saying that LeBron premeditated confronting him last season and had someone set up to film the altercation from a certain angle in the crowd.

"When I tell y'all you can't measure the level of how pissed off I have been over that," he said. "There is no level of disrespect that has every been accorded to me in my life more so than what he did."

Fans react to Smith's viral LeBron comments

"This encounter ruined this bro for life " a user laughed. "LeBron lives in his head rent free now."

"didn’t say any of this to his face though " another cried.

"3rd promo run this year talking about ts LeBron really hurt his ego " a fan replied.

"He calling LeBron fake when the old host of First Take said publicly that Stephen A would take the other side of an argument just to make for better TV," another person pointed out.

"Friendly reminder Stephen A could’ve said all of this 7 months ago when the opportunity presented itself," another user said.

Clearly, we know how Smith feels about the 21-time All-Star. But you do have to wonder why Melo, one of LeBron's closest basketball friends, would even give Stephen A. the platform to say what he said.
