Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James haven’t been on the best of terms in recent times, more so after the ESPN analyst criticized the way Bronny James entered the NBA. He blamed LeBron for forcing his kid into a situation that could have ruined his career, which didn’t sit well with the four-time champion.

During a Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks game in Los Angeles, James confronted Smith courtside. According to the analyst, James told him to stop talking about his kid.

Ever since that moment, it was clear that there was no love lost between the two figures. That, however, hasn’t stopped the analyst from criticizing James. Smith sat down with Graham Bensinger on his “In-depth” show to discuss his current relationship with the Lakers star.

Stephen A. Smith Says LeBron James Tried To Sabotage His Career

After admitting that he and James don’t like each other, Stephen A. Smith praised him for his career and everything he has accomplished over two decades. More than that, he claimed that James tried to “sabotage” his career at ESPN.

“I can’t talk about it, but that’s exactly what I said. I’ve never talked about it. And I won’t, other than to say I know that to be true,” Smith said. “And that is – that’s unfortunate. Outside of that, it was validated when he went on Pat McAfee’s show, because you went on the show that comes on after me to talk about me and to disrespect me.

“Tighty whities on, and he did this and that, and all of this other stuff, and like, ‘Oh, really? So that’s what we doing.’ So, you know, that was validation. But I’ve known about several things in the past, but I’m beyond all of that. Like I said, I’ve moved past it.”

This feud appeared to be in the past, but perhaps Smith’s recent comments can cause another stir.
