Steve Clifford Has Agreed To Become The Hornets' New Head Coach, Says Adrian Wojnarowski

ESPN Sources: Steve Clifford has agreed to a deal to return as the Charlotte Hornets’ coach. Clifford, one of league’s most respected coaches among his peers, led Hornets to two playoff trips in a five-year run that ended in 2018.

Adrian Wojnarowski notably mentions that he led the Hornets to "two playoff trips" so perhaps he can get them to the playoffs with their current core. They have All-Star LaMelo Ball as their franchise player, so perhaps Clifford can get the best out of him as he did with former All-Star Kemba Walker.
