The NBA's schedule release has most fans excited for the 2025-26 season. One of the most talked-about teams after the announcement was the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are among the teams that have the toughest games. They have 16 back-to-back games , along with the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards.

During the second half of the 2024-25 season, the Suns had the toughest schedule left across the association. It played a significant part in their bid to be in the playoffs. Due to the tough matchups they had, Phoenix failed to qualify for the postseason. They finished the regular season with a 36-46 record.

Because of the way the league set its schedule, it appears that the Suns will follow a similar pattern for the future season.

One of the highlights for the Suns is their upcoming matchup against the Houston Rockets, featuring their former star player, Kevin Durant. The organization traded KD to the Rockets in the offseason for Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and some future picks in a seven-team deal.

They'll welcome the two-time champion on Nov. 24 for the first time in the regular season and will be broadcast via Peacock. The two teams will face each other four times. The next two games will be at Toyota Center, the home arena of the Rockets. The dates for the second and third games are December 5 and January 5, respectively.

On April 7, the Suns will host the Rockets at PHX Arena in the final meeting between the two Western Conference teams.
