The Los Angeles Clippers have reunited with veteran NBA star Chris Paul this offseason. Paul signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract to return to the Clippers, where he had some of his successful years. The 12-time All-Star spent six seasons with the LA team in his first stint, where he was the face of the franchise. Unfortunately for the team and the star guard, they couldn’t come close to winning a championship.

After his time with the California team, he bounced around the league, joining the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs. During that stretch, Paul was away from his family, who resided in LA.

It was one of the reasons why the future Hall of Famer came to a decision to reconnect with his former team. Another reason was because he believes the Clippers have a chance to win the championship this season.

Paul reunites with All-Star guard James Harden, his teammate for two years with the Rockets. Additionally, he’s teaming up with Kawhi Leonard and Bradley Beal.

The Los Angeles Clippers have a stacked roster with former and current All-Stars. This is why they could be one of the best teams in the Western Conference in the 2025-26 season.

When Paul was introduced as the newest member of the Clippers, he had an interview with ESPN’s Mallika Andrews. The reporter asked if winning a championship was the goal for his return to the organization. The 40-year-old star did not hesitate to confirm that he still wants to chase the prestigious award.

“That’s the goal,” Paul said. “At the same time, I do understand that not everyone gets a chance to play this long. I’ll be taking every moment in this season and making sure that I’m doing whatever I can to help our team win.”

The closest that Paul came to winning the championship was in 2021, when he helped the Suns reach the NBA Finals but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James surprised his fans and followers when he posted a photo on Instagram showing him working out. What’s unusual about the photo was that James was doing his workout at the Los Angeles Clippers’ training facility.

His agent, Rich Paul, cleared the air when he appeared as a guest on Tylil’s live stream. According to Paul, it was a vacant left by the Los Angeles Clippers after they opened the Intuit Dome. The agent revealed that they asked the team owner, Steve Ballmer to use it since it was a vacant space.

Now, the place is being used as the new Klutch Sports facility.
