The Warriors Just Passed Another Major NBA Milestone
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

When people have conversations about the best teams in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors are always discussed.

There is a good reason for that: they are the reigning champions of the league and just won their fourth NBA Finals in the Stephen Curry era.

There was a time when the Warriors were the laughingstock of the NBA and hardly even thought of.

Now they are a juggernaut franchise that is here to stay.

The Warriors are now the most valuable NBA team franchise, with an estimated value of $7 billion according to Forbes.

That is a huge amount of money and a huge accomplishment too.

It’s also the first time in more than 20 years that the most valuable franchise in the league isn’t the Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks.

The Warriors own the league for many reasons, this is just one of them.

Making Money & Making Buckets

The Warriors are a runaway success in just about every single way.

They sell out their arena every single night, they have some of the biggest names in the league, they are fostering a bunch of young players who are only getting better, and they are selling merchandise like hotcakes.

It’s no surprise that the team is worth so much now because success is worth a lot in the NBA.

The team is off to a good start so far for 2022-23.

They have a 3-2 record right now, which puts them behind some teams in the west like the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies, and others.

But the Warriors have a tendency to heat up later in the year so there is no doubt they are priming themselves for another run at the Finals.
