Former NBA forward Carlos Delfino is hanging it up. Appearing on the “Doble Doble” podcast, Delfino officially confirmed his retirement, per Johnny Askounis of Eurohoops.
The 43-year-old Argentine wing was the No. 25 pick in the 2003 draft and carved out a solid nine-year NBA career, averaging 8.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists across 507 games with the Pistons, Raptors, Bucks and Rockets. Injuries derailed his run, but Delfino continued playing in Europe until 2023.
A longtime international standout, Delfino won Olympic gold with Argentina in 2004 and bronze in 2008.
Thunder, Wolves top positional rankings: Law Murray of The Athletic stacked all 30 NBA teams by positional depth. The Thunder (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace) took the top point guard spot, while the Timberwolves (Anthony Edwards, Terrence Shannon Jr.) led the shooting guard rankings.
The Rockets (Kevin Durant, Tari Eason), Bucks (Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis) and Nuggets (Nikola Jokic, Jonas Valanciunas) ranked first at small forward, power forward and center, respectively.

He has the Sixers, Celtics and Pacers finishing 10th through 12th with 37, 36 and 31 wins, respectively.
