The Toronto Raptors have drafted Jonathan Mogbo from the University of San Francisco No. 31 overall at the 2024 NBA Draft.

He spent one year at San Francisco after transferring from Missouri State.

Mogbo averaged 14.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game last season while shooting 63.6 percent from the field:

He was 0-for-2 from long range in his Division I career and shot 58 percent from the free-throw line.

Mogbo is a long-time friend and former AAU teammate of Raptors All-Star Scottie Barnes.

Barnes was actually at Mogbo’s draft party:

Mogbo has the size of a big and can playmake as a guard. His defensive upside is very high but he will come into the NBA as a non-shooter.

On defense Mogbo is capable of playing both on and off the ball and he can defend multiple positions. He’s got great energy who does the little things well.
