While the Oklahoma City Thunder are racking up wins, young guard Josh Giddey’s troubles are piling up.

After salacious photos emerged online of Giddey with a high school student, the police department of Newport Beach opened an investigation into Giddey’s alleged relationship with the girl, who appears to be a minor.
If the investigation discovers wrongdoing, Giddey could be charged with a misdemeanor or even a felony.
The Thunder haven't commented, except to say that they plan to play Giddey while the NBA investigates and until they indicate the Australian guard shouldn't play.
For now, the family of the girl is allegedly not cooperating with police.

At the same time, sources report that Giddey's agent, Daniel Moldovan, was terminated by Octagon, allegedly after a series of social media posts about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
I find it equally weird that when I, an Australian, lands in the USA and they have the nerve to make me wait in line at the LAX checkpoint. America is so apartheid-ish Nina! Border control is so racist!

I don’t even care that she is an absolute pathological liar. I’m just astounded that there are hordes of people stupid enough to believe her. https://t.co/cCktqQDToQ

Despite Moldovan representing a number of prominent players, including Giddey, fellow Australian lottery pick Dyson Daniels and Sacramento's Davion Mitchell, Octagon chose to part ways with Moldovan.
Perhaps there was more to the firing than the inflammatory posts, but Moldovan may join a growing group of people who lost jobs over social media activity.
It's one more complication for the 21-year-old Giddey. Though sources say the Thunder are optimistic that Giddey will be exonerated, Giddey is losing allies — and perhaps a cereal endorsement deal as well.
