Two Surprise Teams Emerge in Blockbuster Multi-Team Giannis Antetokounmpo–Jaylen Brown Trade Rumors

Giannis Antetokounmpo might be the biggest name that’s available for a trade in the offseason. And apparently, Jaylen Brown might be in the mix, too. But is Antetokounmpo-Brown swap feasible? Maybe not, because Boston might need to unload Brown to another team if a deal materializes.

There’s no doubt that the Milwaukee Bucks will select the team with the best trade package for their star. The Boston Celtics can offer something, but it’s hard to envision Jaylen Brown landing in Milwaukee. If recent history is any guide, superstar players almost never get traded directly to a team without three or even four teams involved. If Giannis is moved, a couple of teams are being mentioned as a possible landing spot for Jaylen Brown.

“The Clippers and Hawks have been floated as possible third teams that would acquire Jaylen Brown in deals where the Boston Celtics acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo,” as per Havlicek Stole the Pod.

JB landing with either the Clippers or the Hawks would immediately make those teams dark-horse contenders next season. This year, he has proven that he can be the number one option.

As for Giannis, Boston will be an intriguing landing spot for him. If Jayson Tatum remains healthy, the Celtics will always be a threat in the East.

Miami Heat’s Trade Package for Giannis Antetokounmpo Revealed

For several months now, the Miami Heat has emerged as the frontrunners in the Giannis sweepstakes. Their front office is currently busy heading into the offseason with one goal in mind: to come up with the best trade package for the two-time league MVP. And according to recent reports, their proposed offer is massive.

“A potential trade package from the Heat for Giannis Antetokounmpo: Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Nikola Jovic, No. 13 overall pick, 2030 first-round pick, 2032 first-round pick, 2031 first-round pick swap, 2033 first-round pick swap,” per Jake Weinbach.

Three good players plus a plethora of first-rounders? Miami is indeed going all in for the ‘Greek Freak.’ Can Boston offer a trade package like that? Sure enough, the upcoming offseason would be very interesting.
