The Indiana Pacers have received some fantastic news. Tyrese Haliburton is reportedly planning on playing in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Haliburton suffered a strained right calf and had an MRI done. The Pacers have not made the results of the MRI public, but Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle gave an update on Haliburton’s condition.
“He is going to be carefully evaluated over the next 36 hours and will likely be listed as questionable on the injury report and probably will be a game-time decision for Game 6,” Carlisle said. “Everything is on the table.”
Haliburton did participate in a 30-minute walkthrough practice yesterday, which was a good sign for Indiana. New reports now have stated that Haliburton intends to play in Game 6.

This is great news for the Pacers, who struggled without their star guard this season. Indiana compiled a 4-5 record this year in games where Haliburton missed.
For the Pacers, they need to make it a full team effort if they want to send the series to a Game 7. Without Haliburton, the team isn’t full, as Haliburton makes the Pacers’ entire offense run smoothly.
He is their leader and with him, the team has a chance to continue their run at shocking the entire world.
The only question that remains is how effective Haliburton will be.
