The Golden State Warriors enter the NBA offseason as a team to watch as they try to upgrade their roster and chase another championship next season.

Of course, the Warriors made the major move at the trade deadline last season to acquire Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat, which completely changed their season.

Behind their new core of Stephen Curry, Butler and Draymond Green, Golden State was able to make it to the second round of the playoffs before being eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games after Curry suffered an injury in Game 1.

Now the Warriors enter a crucial offseason as they try to build around their aging core to try and win another title next season.

On Monday, Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. revealed the team’s plans this summer, particularly in the trade market.

“We’ll definitely be in the mix,” Dunleavy said about the offseason trade market.

This is a clear message by Dunleavy Jr. as it appears that Golden State is going to be all-in on upgrading their roster this offseason through the trade market.

Of course, the Warriors have been linked to many players heading into the offseason, including Derrick White of the Boston Celtics and Nikola Vucevic of the Chicago Bulls.

The Warriors also have a key decision to make regarding their young forward Jonathan Kuminga, who will be a restricted free agent this summer.

If the Warriors do end up making some major changes to their roster, they could end up using Kuminga in a sign-and-trade deal to upgrade their rotation around their veteran trio.

Either way, it appears as though the Warriors are going to be very aggressive this summer as they try to take advantage of their star trio of Curry, Butler and Green as they chase another championship next season.
