Warriors interested in trading for Rockets guard Victor Oladipo?

Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo could end up playing for his third team this season if the franchise decides to trade him.

According to The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor, the Golden State Warriors are interested in trading for Oladipo. The team views him as a rental because they won't have the necessary cap space to sign him this offseason, O'Connor adds.

Oladipo was traded to the Rockets from the Indiana Pacers in the James Harden deal. The 28-year-old has had an up-and-down season thus far, but still is averaging 20 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

Oladipo reportedly rejected the Rockets' two-year, $45.2-million extension offer in late February because he's pursuing a longer-term deal. He'll become a free agent at the end of the season.

The Warriors are also reportedly interested in Chicago Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr., O'Connor says. Porter is a candidate to be bought out and Golden State would attempt to sign him as a free agent.
