Draymond Green has been keeping busy in the offseason as he heads into what will be his 14th year with the Golden State Warriors in 2025-26.
Green had an excellent campaign last season, coming in third in the Defensive Player of the Year vote and being named to the All-Defensive First Team for the fifth time in his career. The 35-year-old will be looking to carry that momentum this coming season as he hopes to help lead the Warriors toward another championship.
Before he gets back to the preseason grind, however, Green has been actively promoting his brand. The four-time All-Star recently took a trip to China to connect with the millions of Golden State fans in the country.
On Tuesday, the Warriors took to social media to share their reaction to Green’s offseason move.
“Draymond got Shanghai's skyline glowing,” the team posted on Instagram, sharing a video of Green’s larger-than-life projection in one of the tallest buildings in the bustling city of Shanghai.
Despite already being in the latter stages of his career, Green is clearly still a very big deal in China. The Warriors just had to flex their star forward’s massive reach in the Asian country, which remains one of, if not the largest, markets in the world.
Green has been making waves during his recent tour of China. In one of his stops, he was captured on video attempting to dunk on a fan wearing a Jordan Poole jersey. The Warriors veteran failed to slam the ball, but he sent the fan flying with the dunk attempt. Afterward, Green playfully put the supporter in a headlock before dapping him up.

The clip went viral as NBA fans looked back on Green’s high-profile feud with his former teammate. For context, Green punched Poole in the face during a heated confrontation at practice back in 2022, which ultimately led to Poole leaving Golden State the following summer.
Green should be back in the United States soon enough, if he hasn’t returned already. He will be putting in some serious work in the coming weeks with the start of the new NBA season now less than a month away.
