Warriors win seventh NBA Championship with 103-90 Game 6 win over Celtics

Warriors' star point guard Steph Curry turned in one of his most memorable performances to date in Game 6. Curry shot 57% (12-of-21) from the field and 54.5% from 3 (6-of-11) to lead the Warriors in scoring with 34 points. He added seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and a block. 

Curry, named Finals MVP for the first time, averaged 31.0 PPG, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals, boasting a field goal percentage of 48.2% while shooting 43.7% from 3-point range. 

Andrew Wiggins finished with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, four steals, and three blocks in Game 6. 

Draymond Green had 12 points, adding 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks. Klay Thompson scored 12 points, with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Jordan Poole had 15 points off the bench for the Warriors, with three boards and two assists. 

Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics, finishing with 34 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal. 

Al Horford had 19 points, including four three-pointers, 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. 

The Celtics opened Game 6, firing on all cylinders, breaking out to an early 10-point lead in the first quarter. However, it was all downhill from there for Boston. 

Trailing 22-16 late in the first quarter, the Warriors went on a historic offensive run to turn the tides of Game 6. 

Golden State went on a 21-0 run that lasted from 2:53 in the first quarter to 9:59 in the second quarter. The Warriors' dominant run was the longest scoring streak in the Finals in 50 years. 

The Warriors led at halftime, 54-39, but led by as many as 22 points in Game 6. 

Boston would fight back to make the game interesting in the second half. Midway through the fourth quarter, the Celtics cut the deficit to nine points but couldn't complete the comeback.
