DeMarcus Cousins may not be in the NBA, but he continues to play basketball, this time in the Puerto Rico basketball league. In his recent game, Cousins was involved in a heated altercation with a fan that turned ugly.
Cousins, who plays for the Guaynabo Mets, appeared to get into an argument with a fan sitting courtside. This led to Cousins giving the fan an obscene gesture.
Cousins and the fan eventually put their hands on each other and were broken up by Cousins’ teammates.

If that was bad, what happened next became worse. Cousins was ejected and on his way back through the tunnel, Cousins took a swipe at another fan, and was drenched in some sort of liquid.
That DeMarcus Cousins crash out was about to be one for the history books.

This led Cousins to go on a rampage as he tried to get at the fan. Luckily for the fan, a group of men held Cousins back.
There’s no place for physical touch in basketball when it involves players and fans. Both were wrong in this situation, and hopefully, they can learn from this incident.
This may have been a bad situation, but it could’ve been way worse. Just ask the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons.
