Victor Wembanyama is the clear early favorite to win the Defensive Player of the Year Award. His defense is stifling, especially around the rim, where he seems to have a block party every single game.
Wembanyama recorded two blocks in the San Antonio Spurs’ 126-98 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. This is his 100th straight game achieving at least one blocked shot, joining Patrick Ewing and Dikembe Mutombo as the only two players to reach this feat in NBA history.
