The Warriors and Oilers both handled business last night for our first win of the week, and it got us thinking that focusing on some moneyline parlays for these playoff games may be worth another look tonight. Series have patterns, and while they don't always hold true, swapping locations has made a clear difference more often than not, so we're following that here with two teams returning home tonight.
The Phoenix Suns return home in Game 6 with the series on the line, and they'll be without Chris Paul again. While we dove into Phoenix props for Game 5, we did fail to consider that the return to Denver may spark the Nuggets more on both ends, and that it did, as it won 118-102.
Now back in Arizona, we're running the Suns back with their backs against the walls. The Suns took both home games in this series thus far, winning by five and seven thanks to 79 points per game between Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
The Suns have won five straight home games against the Nuggets, and we're confident that Booker and Durant find that next gear once again back in front of the Phoenix faithful.
Since the start of the 2021 postseason, Denver is just 3-9 on the road in the playoffs. Phoenix, meanwhile, has won eight of its last 10 home playoff games.
Leg 1: Phoenix Suns moneyline
On the ice, we're confident the Dallas Stars keep things rolling tonight against the Seattle Kraken. The Stars stepped up in Game 4 to avoid a 3-1 series deficit, winning 6-3. Dallas now heads home with momentum on its side.
The Stars scored four goals and had 35+ shots on goal in both home games so far this series, and their offense has very clearly been at a steadier groove in their home games this postseason.
Seattle has been feisty, but we believe Dallas is the superior team, and fresh off that road win, we like it to take control of this series tonight.

AT&T Byron Nelson tees off today —The last event before the PGA Championship tees off today, and Scottie Scheffler is the heavy favorite to bring home the Byron Nelson win. Scheffler currently sits at +350 to win, and while we get it — he's been superb all year — surely we can find better value than that. Our resident golf bettors are liking the price on Tyrrell Hatton to win at 12-1, fresh off his top three finish at the Wells Fargo Championship last week. K.H. Lee has won this event for two straight years, so how do we not sprinkle on him to finish in the top 10 at +260? His course familiarity and confidence should come through this weekend.
All-NBA teams announced — The All-NBA teams for the 2022-23 season have officially been announced, and the first time is as follows: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic. Some other names to know include Jaylen Brown making the second team, which qualifies him for a supermax extension this summer, and a pair of Kings making the third team off their impressive season in Domantas Sabonis and De'Aaron Fox.
NFL schedule release is today — While the opponents are already known, we soon will know the breakdown of each team's 2023 schedule, as the NFL is set to release each matchup tonight. Some games have already been trickling out, including a New Year's Eve meeting between the Chiefs and Bengals, and an NFC Championship rematch between the Eagles and 49ers in Week 13, among others.
