With the NBA season coming to its business end, the trade rumors are slowly taking over. As most franchises try to build the strongest possible roster for next season, teams are aggressively pursuing star players. One such point of interest for the franchises is Jaylen Brown. And with a lot of speculation going on about the Boston Celtics’ star, the Golden State Warriors have reportedly joined the conversation.
The Warriors have been going through a rough patch over the last couple of seasons. Trying to add some more value to the roster, the club is eager to land some fresh superstars. According to reports from Sean Deveney, Brown might be a viable option for pairing with Stephen Curry.
“The Celtics won’t trade Brown just for the sake to be rid of him…But his trade value is high…As we’ve said, he likely would not wind up in Milwaukee if he is dealt for Giannis, but think about third teams there, like Atlanta, Houston, Golden State…!” Deveney opined.
The Golden State Warriors have been linked as the third team that can be in a deal for Jaylen Brown:

Well, the 29-year-old had quite an impressive season for the Boston Celtics. Carrying the team on his shoulders in Jayson Tatum’s absence, Brown dropped averages of 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in the regular season. Later on, he also combined well with Tatum to form a stellar duo.
Interestingly, the Golden State Warriors are not the only teams assisting with Brown at the moment.
As the situation surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo grows more complicated, more names continue to enter the conversation. With the Bucks trying to find the best possible trade package for the ‘Greek Freak,’ the Celtics can be a viable landing spot. But in order to do that, Boston would need to find a third team to trade off Brown. And this is where teams like the Clippers and the Atlanta Hawks come in.
“The Clippers and Hawks have been floated as possible third teams that would acquire Jaylen Brown in deals where the Boston Celtics acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo,” as per Havlicek Stole the Pod.
